We are seeking a skilled Ab Initio Developer with strong MHub experience to design, develop, and support enterprise-grade data integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Ab Initio ETL development, metadata-driven architecture, and experience working with MHub (Metadata Hub) for data governance, lineage, and integration.

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Ab Initio Developer with strong MHub experience to design, develop, and support enterprise-grade data integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Ab Initio ETL development, metadata-driven architecture, and experience working with MHub (Metadata Hub) for data governance, lineage, and integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Ab Initio ETL pipelines (GDE, Co>Operating System)
- Build and manage MHub (Metadata Hub) solutions for data lineage, governance, and metadata management
- Develop scalable and high-performance data processing systems
- Collaborate with data architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements
- Implement data validation, data quality, and transformation logic
- Optimize ETL jobs for performance, scalability, and reliability
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions
- Maintain documentation for data flows, mappings, and system architecture
- Ensure adherence to enterprise data standards and best practices
- 10+ years of experience in Ab Initio ETL development
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Ab Initio GDE (Graphical Development Environment)
- Co>Operating System
- EME (Enterprise Meta Environment)
- Proven experience with MHub (Metadata Hub)
- Strong understanding of:
- Data warehousing concepts
- ETL/ELT design patterns
- Data modeling (dimensional & relational)
- Experience with SQL and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.)
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience in Banking / Financial Services
- Knowledge of data governance, lineage, and metadata management frameworks
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus
- Experience with big data tools (Hadoop, Spark) is a plus
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Prior experience in large-scale enterprise data migration or modernization projects
