STRUCTURAL ENGINEER
As a Civil/Structural Engineer, you will be working with our team of engineers to provide engineering design and technical support.
Responsibilities in this role will include, but not limited to the following:
-Work within project schedules and deadlines.
- Review and be familiar with approved design criteria and codes.
-Review the scope of project to clearly define what our deliverables will be.
- Design and analyze foundations for heavy equipment and structures, ensuring stability and structural integrity.
-Design and evaluate mill buildings, considering operational requirements.
-Develop fall protection systems to enhance workplace safety in compliance with OSHA standards.-Perform structural modifications and upgrades to existing crane runways, including load capacity assessments and reinforcement designs.
-Conduct structural analysis using industry-standard software and methodologies.
-Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports.
Education, Experience and Skills
A successful candidate will possess the following:
-Ability to interact and talk with clients to review project status or deliverables.
-Travel to the client's site to attend meetings or gather additional information for the project.
-Bachelor's degree in civil engineering. Licensure is not required.
-Be able to read and interpret drawings for review and reference.
-3 to 5 years of prior experience utilizing civil/structural engineering principles.
-Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Familiarity and ability to work with STAAD software-Knowledge of applicable codes (Technical Report No. 13, CMAA, AIST TR-6, AISC) and other regulations and industrial standards is required.
-Having prior experience working within Heavy Industrial Manufacturing Facilities
