PGS Worldwide is seeking an Electronics Assembler in Oldsmar, FL for a one-year contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company.
The Electronics Assembler will support production assembly work on electronic and mechanical assemblies, with a focus on sub-assembly work, running wires, soldering, and soldering wires to terminals. This role requires experience working from diagrams and drawings, using hand and power tools, performing continuity checks, and supporting quality inspection, rework, and prototype assembly tasks.
Required Skills
- Sub-assembly experience.
- Soldering experience.
- Experience running wires.
- Familiarity with wiring and soldering to terminals.
- Ability to perform repetitive and non-repetitive production assembly operations.
- Ability to assemble electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies, including modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.
- Ability to work from diagrams and drawings.
- Ability to create initial layouts.
- Experience using hand tools and/or power tools.
- Ability to make continuity checks on work in process and completed assemblies.
- Ability to conduct quality inspections in accordance with quality specifications.
- Ability to disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test assemblies and subassemblies.
- Ability to work on experimental or prototype assemblies according to specifications and simulated conditions.
- Ability to read and write English.
- Ability to take and pass a required medical exam.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with electronic assembly, mechanical assembly, cable assembly, wire routing, terminal soldering, continuity testing, production assembly, rework, prototype assembly, inspection, and aerospace electronics manufacturing.
What Youll Do
- Perform sub-assembly, soldering, wiring, and terminal soldering work.
- Run wires and support cable or wire-related assembly tasks.
- Assemble electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.
- Work from diagrams, drawings, layouts, and specifications.
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete production assembly work.
- Make continuity checks during production and on completed work.
- Conduct quality inspections on the processing line as required.
- Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test assemblies and subassemblies.
- Support experimental or prototype assembly work under simulated conditions.

- 1st shift.
- MondayThursday.
- 5:00 AM3:30 PM EST.
