Systems Integration & Test Engineer

PGS Worldwide is seeking a Systems Integration & Test Engineer in Jacksonville, FL for a one year contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This role supports electro-optical development and production programs, with a focus on subsystem and system integration, qualification, verification, and test execution. You will work hands-on with test equipment, software, and hardware in a lab and field environment to support critical sensor system testing.

Required Skills

• 46 years of experience with software development using C, C++, and/or LabVIEW
• 46 years of experience in a production environment
• 6+ years of experience with test equipment design, electronic testing, and mechanical testing
• Experience supporting subsystem and system integration and test activities
• Experience developing and executing test procedures and test plans
• Experience analyzing test results and documenting discrepancies
• Ability to support hardware/software interface troubleshooting
• Ability to coordinate across software, electrical, mechanical, and reliability teams

Preferred Skills

• Experience with electro-optical sensor development or testing
• Experience with missile, sensor, or platform integration
• Experience supporting environmental and acceptance testing
• Experience supporting ground and flight test events

What Youll Do

• Support overall system integration, qualification, and verification activities
• Develop and execute subsystem and system-level tests
• Prepare test equipment and facilities for test events, including software support
• Perform environmental and acceptance testing
• Support subsystem and system-level qualification and EMI testing
• Help maintain interface control documentation with cross-functional teams
• Support test readiness preparation and test readiness reviews
• Analyze test results and prepare evaluation reports
• Write discrepancy reports and support regression testing to validate fixes
• Coordinate test activities with software, electrical, mechanical, and reliability teams

Work Schedule / Shift

• 1st Shift
• Training will be conducted onsite in Orlando, FL for approximately 46 weeks before transitioning to Jacksonville, FL
• After training, the role will be 100% onsite in Jacksonville, FL
