PGS Worldwide is seeking a Software Engineer in Camden, NJ for a one year contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This role focuses on developing high-performance C++ software supporting advanced radar modeling and simulation systems. You will contribute to digital twin environments and system-level simulations used in next-generation radar technologies.
Required Skills
- Active Secret clearance or higher
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, or related STEM field
- 69 years of professional software development experience
- Strong experience with C++ or other object-oriented programming languages (Java, C#, etc.)
- Experience working in Agile environments (scrum, sprint planning, release planning)
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and technical documentation skills
- Experience mentoring or leading technical efforts
Preferred Skills
- Strong background in linear algebra, statistical analysis, or signal processing
- Experience with radar systems, modeling, or simulation environments
- Experience developing algorithms, data analysis, or simulation software
- Experience working with radar design tools or system modeling frameworks
- Technical leadership experience supporting program execution
What Youll Do
- Develop high-performance C++ software for radar modeling and simulation
- Support simulation components including signal processing, scene modeling, and radar control
- Integrate software within larger system-of-systems environments
- Collaborate with systems engineers, architects, and technical leads
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical direction
- Participate in Agile development activities including sprint planning and execution
- Develop and maintain technical documentation
- Support development of high-fidelity digital twin simulation environments

- 1st Shift
- Hybrid: Onsite in Camden, NJ at least 4 days per week
