Olive Recruiting is searching for a Crane Operator for our client in the WashingtonDC metropolitanarea. This role is responsible for operating mobile hydraulic cranes and/or lattice boom cranes to lift, move, position, and reposition loads. Responsibilities include adhering to safety protocols, equipment maintenance, and following direction from site supervision.

Responsibilities:
- Operates mobile hydraulic cranes (all-terrain, rough-terrain, hydraulic truck, boom truck) and/or lattice boom cranes (crawler and truck-mounted), with a Class A or B CDL.
- Drive cranes to job sites, set up equipment, and ensure proper use of cribbing/matting per manufacturer guidelines.
- Follow direction from riggers and site supervision to perform load movements safely and efficiently.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on crane equipment.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Ensure the safety of crane operations, including proper barricading of counterweight tail swing radius.
- Operate equipment using verbal or hand signals, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Assist in crane mobilization and demobilization, including assembly and disassembly tasks.
- Maintain accurate job tickets for client acceptance and billing.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Valid CDL Class A or B license with a clean driving record.
- Successful completion of all required OSHA and industry-specific certifications.
- Strong endurance and ability to work long hours in varying weather conditions.
- Compliance with all OSHA, company, and project safety requirements.
- Ability to safely operate cranes with a high degree of competence and alertness.
