This role requires a deep understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices, along with the ability to lead technical discussions and mentor junior team members.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop high level architecture for software applications, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into architectural solutions.
Lead the evaluation and selection of technology stacks, frameworks, and tools to be used in projects.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Identify and mitigate architectural risks and issues, proposing solutions to enhance system performance and reliability.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending improvements to existing systems and processes.
Mentor and train junior architects and developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Mandatory Skills:
Strong proficiency in Java programming, with extensive experience in building enterprise level applications.
In depth knowledge of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.
Experience with microservices architecture and cloud based solutions (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
Proven ability to lead technical discussions and make architectural decisions.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with a focus on delivering high quality solutions.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with front end technologies (Angular, React, or Vue.js).
Knowledge of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and data modeling.
Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
10 15 years of experience in software development and architecture.
Proven experience in leading architectural design and implementation for large scale applications.
Relevant certifications in architecture or cloud technologies are a plus.
