Job Description:
Work with
Data Center
stakeholders to execute CloudForge (internal AWS rack position inventory and floorplan management system) and Facility Inventory Topology (FIT power topology data management system) inventory change requests.
Drive change request completion within defined SLAs.
Ensure accuracy in deployed configurations and track exceptions for follow-up.
Assist in daily operational tasks as part of the overall Data Center Delivery workflow.
The ideal candidate has experience managing global infrastructure projects/programs, navigating inventory or supply chain management systems and understanding basic network/server/power infrastructure to perform data entry and changes for landing complex rack services with different placement rules. As a Technical Infrastructure Program Manager within this team focused on global data center inventory and power topology accuracy, you will be the gatekeeper (configure, update and maintain) for all global infrastructure data for core data centers pertaining to rack floor plan layout. All support activities must ensure compliance with Amazon's security and data governance standards.
Basic qualifications
Bachelor s Degree and 1+ years of project management experience OR 5 years of project management experience (experience can be substituted for degree).
1+ years of experience in managing complex technology or infrastructure related projects.
Preferred qualifications
Experience working with Data Center Infrastructure.
Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial engineering domain or related certification
Supply Chain/Inventory Systems Experience.
IT Systems Process Mapping.
Basic SQL familiarity
