Engineer II
Responsibilities:
- Safety committee Rep for the OSS team, and all
- Aconex review responsibilities
- Consolidate all OSS documents going into workflow (to include as-built drawings)
- Advise on assigning reviewers for new workflow initiation
- Keep up with overdue workflows/sending reminders
- Close ALL open comment sheets related to old/finalized documents
- Weekly updates (report)
- Call coverage roster
- Own shared team calendar
- Own the OSS action tracker
- Own the OSS team SharePoint page
- Mange Change Orders
- Manage Budget for OSS contract Support to include contract/invoice review
- Risk Analysis
- Semco inventory management
- Drives key discussions/warehouse walk-throughs
- Integrated tracking method onto external SharePoint
- Created job aid for using tracking method
- NCRs & TQs
- Tracks existing NCR ( non conformity reports)/TQs (technical queries)progress weekly
- Adds new NCR/TQs for our engineering team to validate weekly
- Attends working calls to resolve NCR/TQs
Requirements:
- Knowledge and application of engineering theories and principles, concepts, and fundamentals.
- Requires developmental experience in a professional engineering position.
- Competency in applying engineering principles, fundamental concepts, practices and procedures requiring some evaluation, originality and/or ingenuity to achieve project objectives.
- Understands and can apply knowledge of configuration management. Ability to perform engineering calculations using applicable software programs (e.g. Matlab, Excel, etc.).
- Planning, organizational and project management skills. Ability to develop and exercise leadership skills. Effective decision making skills.
- Effective oral and written communication skills (includes technical writing).
- Ability to think analytically and solve complex problems.
- Ability to interpret codes, regulations and practices.
- Equally effective working independently or in a team environment.
- Ability to process information quickly and effectively manage multiple tasks.
Education:
- Minimum of an associate's degree but prefers candidates with Engineering degree.
