Summary
As a client Project Management Assistant, you will support project operations, administration, and management from initiation through completion. This role is part of the Project Management function, ensuring projects are managed effectively from start to finish.
What You ll Do
- Request and provide reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Maintain project policies and directives within the operations manual.
- Act as systems administrator for project tracking systems, websites, and job cost accounting systems.
- Respond to internal and external customer inquiries regarding performance reports and project tracking data.
- Assist project management teams with implementation and monitoring of administrative practices and policies.
- Support project close-out procedures.
- Serve as liaison to the D&T department for tracking desktop hardware/software issues.
- Gather and analyze data to solve complex problems, recommending new techniques when needed.
- Impact own team and related teams through collaborative work.
- Suggest process improvements to enhance team efficiency.
What You ll Need
- High School Diploma or GED plus 3 4 years of job-related experience.
- Experience as a Project Engineer, Superintendent, Assistant Project Manager, or Project Manager
- Exposure to MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems, with experience supporting teams in the execution of MEP projects (deep expertise not required)
- Experience with ground-up construction projects
- Strong understanding of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within project management.
- Ability to evaluate and communicate complex content concisely and logically.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Advanced organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
- Advanced math skills (percentages, discounts, markups).
