Senior Oracle PL SQL Developer

Job Descriptions:

• In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering.
• Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors.
• Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables.
• Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
• We are seeking an experienced Oracle PL/SQL Developer to design, develop, and optimize advanced stored procedures supporting enterprise-scale systems and very large data volumes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures, packages, and functions
• Optimize SQL and PL/SQL for high performance and scalability across very large data volumes
• Analyze execution plans and implement tuning strategies to resolve performance bottlenecks
• Ensure robust error handling, transaction control, and data integrity in production systems
• Collaborate with application and data teams to deliver efficient database solutions

Required Experience:

• Hands-on experience developing Oracle PL/SQL
• Proven expertise in building high performance stored procedures for large-scale systems
• Strong knowledge of SQL optimization, indexing, and execution plan analysis
• Demonstrated experience working with high-volume datasets (hundreds of millions of records).
