Sr DB Architect

Our client, a 3rd-generation management consulting firm, is working on a project for their client - a global financial institution operating in a highly regulated environment and investing in modern cloud governance to strengthen security, compliance, and enterprise risk visibility across AWS and Azure.
They are now looking to add to their team and are hiring a "Sr. DB Architect on a remote basis.

Required

• SQL Server on EC2 and RDS SQL server
• Experience with SQL server to Aurora migration
• SQL server performance tuning
• AWS Database Migration (DMS/SCT)
• Knowledge of T-SQL SP analysis, DB object migration
• Multi AZ (Availability groups) and multi region design of SQL server
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)

Desirable

• Knowledge of Redshift, Kinesis firehose, EKS
• DB - application integration
