Summary:

Responsibilities:
  • Apply engineering theories, principles, concepts, and fundamentals.
  • Perform engineering calculations using software programs (e.g., Matlab, Excel).
  • Serve as Safety Committee Representative for the OSS team.
  • Review and consolidate all OSS documents for workflow, including as-built drawings.
  • Advise on assigning reviewers for new workflow initiation.
  • Manage overdue workflows and send reminders.
  • Close all open comment sheets related to old/finalized documents.
  • Provide weekly updates and reports.
  • Manage call coverage roster.
  • Maintain and update the shared team calendar.
  • Own the OSS action tracker and SharePoint page.
  • Manage change orders and budget for OSS contract support, including contract/invoice review.
  • Conduct risk analysis.
  • Manage Semco inventory, including driving key discussions, warehouse walk-throughs, and integrating tracking methods onto external SharePoint.
  • Create job aids for using tracking methods.
  • Track existing company non-conformity reports and technical queries, adding new ones for validation weekly.
  • Attend working calls to resolve company technical queries.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge and application of engineering principles and configuration management.
  • Ability to perform engineering calculations and solve complex problems.
  • Planning, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Effective decision-making, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret codes, regulations, and practices.
  • Minimum of a high school diploma; associate's degree required.
Preferred Skills:
  • Engineering degree preferred.
  • Leadership skills development and exercise.
  • Ability to work effectively independently or in a team environment.
  • Quick information processing and multitasking capabilities.
