About the Role:
The Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney role is ideal for a mid-level attorney with 3 to 5 years of experience in business litigation, corporate disputes, and securities matters. This position offers hands-on exposure to complex commercial litigation in both state and federal courts, with early responsibility in drafting motions, managing cases, and participating in courtroom proceedings. Responsibilities:

  • Handle complex commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts, including case strategy and execution
  • Draft and argue motions, pleadings, briefs, and legal memoranda related to business disputes
  • Manage cases involving contract disputes, business torts, and corporate and shareholder conflicts
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on commercial, corporate, and securities law issues
  • Participate in discovery processes, including depositions, document review, and interrogatories
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on litigation strategy, trial preparation, and client advisement
  • Represent clients in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings
  • Maintain strong client communication and provide updates on case developments and legal risks

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
  • Active bar admission in good standing
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in commercial litigation or business litigation at a reputable law firm
  • Experience with corporate, commercial, or securities-related legal matters
  • Strong legal writing, drafting, and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment
  • Experience practicing in state and federal courts
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience handling high-stakes or complex litigation matters
  • Familiarity with shareholder disputes and securities litigation
