Instrumentation Automation Engineering Intern

Job Summary:

We're looking for an Electrical/Computer Engineer Intern to help develop standard micro PLC and HMI programs that will be packaged and sold with hardware solutions. This role also supports creating clear, engaging training content including YouTube tutorials and PowerPoint modules for internal teams and customers.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and test standard micro PLC and HMI programs for packaged automation products.
• Create HMI screens, templates, and documentation.
• Produce training materials, including YouTube videos and PowerPoint presentations.
• Assist with hardware testing, troubleshooting, and program validation.
• Support engineering teams with updates, documentation, and customer focused technical materials.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts simply
• Computer programming language knowledge and skill
• Familiarity with PLC's and control system concepts is a plus
