We are a leading provider of switching, monitoring, and control solutions for the power industry, serving utility, industrial, and defense markets worldwide. We are seeking a strategic and technically driven Technical Product Manager to lead the growth and development of our Switches and Meters product portfolio.

Reporting directly to the Vice President, this senior-level role is responsible for driving product strategy, market expansion, pricing analysis, and product lifecycle management while serving as a key link between engineering, sales, operations, and executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute long-term product strategies and roadmaps for assigned product lines
  • Lead new product development initiatives from concept through commercialization
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and emerging industry trends
  • Analyze ERP, CRM, and sales data to support strategic decision-making, market expansion, and product performance evaluation
  • Manage pricing strategies, profitability analysis, and market positioning
  • Support integration of acquired product lines through mergers and acquisitions
  • Create technical documentation, white papers, product specifications, and customer-facing materials
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Sales, Operations, and leadership teams
  • Build relationships with customers, sales representatives, and industry partners through regular travel and market engagement
  • Identify opportunities for international growth and expansion into new sales channels

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field required; MBA preferred
  • 7+ years of product management, engineering, or technical business experience
  • Strong background in electromechanical products, meters, switches, or power distribution systems
  • Experience with ERP and CRM systems, data analysis, pricing models, and forecasting
  • Excellent technical writing, presentation, and communication skills
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and project leadership abilities
  • Experience within utility, industrial power, energy infrastructure, or related industries preferred

Work Environment:
This position operates in both office and manufacturing environments and is not remote. Requires occasional lifting up to 25 lbs. and approximately 25% travel.
