Technical Writer

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Technical Writer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating clear, comprehensive, and user-friendly technical documentation that supports our products and services.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the update of existing technical publications in the portfolio such as Component Service Bulletins, Maintenance Manuals, and Service Information Letters.
• Coordinate the creation of all applicable technical publications in ATA iSpec2200, S1000D, and/or OEM's authoring specifications for the entry into service of new programs or systems in portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret engineering drawings, charts, wiring diagrams, schematics, and assembly/test procedures.
• Background in mechanical maintenance and/or pneumatics is a plus .
• CorelDraw preferred or Adobe Illustrator/IsoDraw/CAD programs are a plus.
• 3-5 years of experience performing technical writing.
• Experience in S1000D as well as ATA iSpec 2200.
• Arbortext/FrameMaker/Microsoft Office.
