We are currently seeking experienced Pipefitters in the Baltimore, MD area for a heavy industrial and mechanical contractor. Candidates must be familiar with carbon steel, stainless steel, fiberglass, PVC, HDPE, and copper pipes and be flexible with the work environment.

Pipefitter Responsibilities:

• Experience running piping through active industrial production facilities is required.
• Understand P&ID (Process and Instrument Diagrams) and can coordinate installation of valves and instruments as shown on the drawings.
• Ability to field route piping where appropriate and required by the client.
• Working with welded, threaded, Victaulic piping, carbon, and stainless steel.
• Experience with the some or all of the following:
  • Carbon Steel Threaded, butt weld, socket weld (1/2 thru 24)
  • Stainless Steel Threaded, butt weld, socket weld (1/2 thru 12)
  • Fiberglass Butt wrap & socket (4 thru 24)
  • PVC Socket & SDR-35 (1/2 thru 6)
  • HDPE Fusion Weld (4 thru 24)
  • Copper Threaded & Socket (sweat) (1/2 thru 3)

Requirements:

• Driver's License and have reliable transportation to and from the jobsite.
• Willing to work at least 40 hours per week (Mon Thu on a (4) 10's schedule), with the flexibility to work overtime as required. Some night shift may be required, which is dependent on client needs.

Experience:

• 2-5 Years previous construction experience, preferably as a Mechanical Contractor or Prime Contractor in an industrial environment.
• Understanding of plans, specifications, P&IDs, and ISOs.

The pay range for this position is$29 - $32 per hour w/ PTO, medical and dental insurance, 401(k) plan, and 8 paid federal holidays.
