Material Handler

PGS Worldwide is seeking a Material Handler in Nashua, NH for an eight-month contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company.

The Material Handler will support an electronics stockroom by receiving, counting, storing, picking, kitting, and issuing electronic components for manufacturing operations. This role is a good fit for someone detail-oriented who wants hands-on experience in inventory control, ERP systems, supply chain processes, and proper handling of sensitive electronic materials.

Required Skills

• High school education or equivalent with up to 1 year of related experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Willingness to cross-train and learn multiple stockroom functions.
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds.
• Solid computer skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Critical thinking skills.
• High quality standards and quality-focused mindset.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to properly handle and package sensitive electronic components.
• Open to U.S. Persons and legal residents.
• No security clearance required.

Preferred Skills

• Oracle ERP experience.
• Computer experience.
• Time management skills.
• Experience with inventory management, stockroom operations, receiving, putaway, picking, kitting, cycle counting, material handling, electronic components, ESD handling, and supply chain support.

What You'll Do

• Manage the flow of electronic components from receiving through delivery to the manufacturing floor.
• Receive, count, and process incoming materials using Oracle ERP.
• Fulfill material requests by picking, kitting, and issuing components.
• Support putaway activities in the electronics stockroom.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through daily cycle counts and proactive problem-solving.
• Properly handle and package sensitive electronic components in accordance with ESD requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe stockroom environment.
• Support continuous improvement efforts within the stockroom.

Work Schedule / Shift

• 1st shift, Monday Friday.
• 9/80 schedule.
• 6:00 AM 3:30 PM.
• Overtime expected as needed.

Pay

• $21.55/hour
