This is an exciting opportunity for a senior-level Traffic Engineer / Project Manager to play a key role in helping grow and shape a developing traffic engineering practice.

What You'll Be Doing
Traffic Engineering & Design
- Prepare traffic signal plans in accordance with applicable state and local standards
- Develop signing and pavement marking plans
- Support ITS and transportation systems design initiatives
- Participate in design coordination meetings and client discussions
- Assist with transportation corridor and intersection improvement projects
- Conduct traffic impact studies and transportation analyses
- Support corridor studies, intersection evaluations, and traffic calming initiatives
- Analyze crash data and provide mitigation recommendations
- Assist with development-related transportation planning activities
- Participate in public meetings, municipal coordination, and stakeholder presentations as needed
- Manage transportation and traffic engineering projects from kickoff through delivery
- Coordinate internally with engineering teams and external stakeholders
- Support proposal development and client relationship management
- Assist in growing and mentoring a transportation engineering team
- Contribute to strategic growth and expansion initiatives within the practice

- Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Transportation, or Traffic Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- 7+ years of traffic or transportation engineering experience
- Strong project management and client communication skills
- Experience working with municipal, DOT, or public-sector transportation projects
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment
- Business development or client relationship experience is highly valued
