Location: Fully onsite. Cincinnati, OH
JD:
Required:
" Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in a direct electrical engineering role
" PCBA ideation, concept generation, design, prototyping, manufacturing, and troubleshooting experience
" Experience with analog and digital circuitry design and development
" Demonstrated proficiency in Cadence and/or Altium to design, simulate, and analyze circuit designs
" Experience with embedded electrical design
" Demonstrated ability to debug and test electrical systems using oscilloscopes and other test tools
" Detailed understanding of board-level printed circuit design and signal integrity issues
" Demonstrated ability working across subject areas with internal and external partners
" Strong collaboration, proven technical leadership capabilities, and conflict resolution skills
Preferred:
" Experience formulating and coordinating different engineering approaches to test hypotheses, such as hand calculations, computational modeling and simulation, empirical testing (benchtop and in vivo) and method development as appropriate
" Experience with rigid-flex PCBAs and flex PCBAs
" Experience with integration of motors in electrical systems
" Knowledge and how to control DC motors (e.g. brushed, brushless, servo, etc.)
" Experience with various communication protocols (e.g. Bluetooth, SPI, I2C, USB, UART, USART, etc.)
" Demonstrated proficiency in Cadence and/or Altium for PCB layout
" Design for electromagnetic compatibility and immunity, electrically fast transients, electrostatic discharge, etc.
" Experience with IEC (phone number removed), IEC (phone number removed)-2 etc.
" Design for test, manufacture, and assembly
" Design control experience
