Senior Kafka Engineer Remote

Technical Skills

• 10+ years of overall IT experience with 5+ years in Apache Kafka.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kafka brokers, topics, partitions, replication, and ISR.
• Experience with Kafka Streams, Kafka Connect, Schema Registry.
• Strong understanding of event-driven architecture and microservices.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Confluent Control Center).
• Strong Linux, networking, and security fundamentals.

Good to Have

• Experience with Confluent Platform.
• Exposure to IoT, manufacturing systems, or real-time analytics.
• Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working in global enterprise environments.
