The Electrical Engineer (Hardware Verification) will be part of the Hardware Design Verification and Validation (HDV) team, responsible for designing and automating RF test and measurement systems used to validate complex military communication and networking equipment. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams to analyze test data, improve measurement techniques, and generate performance reports.
As a member of the Hardware Design Verification and Validation (HDV) team, responsibilities will include design and automation of RF test and measurement systems for testing and characterization of complex military communication/networking equipment. In addition, the position will include collaboration with other scientists, engineers, and management to analyze test data, generate visualizations, and create reports.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and debug automation software for RF test systems using LabVIEW and TestStand
- Develop and improve measurement algorithms to enhance test efficiency and quality
- Analyze large datasets from RF testing and generate visualization reports
- Collaborate with electrical engineers to validate measurement techniques against product performance requirements
- Work with test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and power meters
- Support RF and baseband testing for communication systems
- Troubleshoot test systems and improve automation workflows
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers
- Maintain documentation and reporting for engineering validation
- RF test and measurement experience
- LabVIEW or similar automation/software development experience
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
- Experience with test equipment (spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.)
- Knowledge of networking or radio communication systems
- Ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance
- Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of relevant experience
(OR Master's with 2+ years OR 8+ years without degree) - Experience in test automation and hardware validation
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
- Experience with software development for test systems
- Familiarity with communication protocols (RS-232, Ethernet, TCP/IP, USB)
- Experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP/OOD)
- Hands-on experience with LabVIEW, Python, or C#
- Familiarity with Linux-based systems
- Experience with version control tools (Git, SVN, JIRA)
- Knowledge of RF systems and baseband processing
