PSA Engineer Generation
Job Description
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
" Over 5 years of experience in Power system applications (Generation) : Automatic Generation Control (AGC), Load Frequency Control, Load Forecasting, Economic Dispatch, Power Flow, State Estimator, Contingency analysis, Operator Training Simulator (OTS).
" Hands-on expertise preferably on Client PowerOn Reliance (XA21) and/or AEMS/GDC Platform Software, as well as EMS of any equivalent platforms from Siemens, OSI, ABB, Schneider etc.
" Proficient in both Linux and Windows operating environments
" Experience with communication protocols: IEC (phone number removed)-101/104, DNP3, Modbus, ICCP, OPC.
" Experience of working with relational databases such as Oracle and SQL Server.
" Experience in programming languages for system integration or scripting, such as C, C++, PERL, or similar.
" SQL, shell scripting, and ability to read and interpret logs and debug files.
" Must have experience in picking up and installing fixes on live customer systems
" Strong troubleshooting & debugging skills
Roles & Responsibilities
" Administer and optimize Energy Management System (EMS) system through application configuration, tuning and security patching.
" Perform necessary technical corrective actions to restore failed or failing technical services on EMS system.
" Conduct code review, deployment, testing and monitoring of break/fix patches and modification.
