The Impact You Will Have
This position will lead enterprise language servies across translation, localization, and interpreting, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and compliant multilingual communcations. This role drives moderinization of language operations through translation technology, MemoQ optimization, and responsible for use of AI, while supporting organizational readiness for healthcare accredidation and regulatory requirements.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead and scale enterprise language services, including translation, localization, interpretation,and bilingual staff programs.
- Own and administer the MemoQ translation management system, including workflows,translation memory, terminology, QA, and reporting.
- Evaluate and implement AI-enabled language solutions (e.g., machine translation, AI-assistedQA) using human-in-the-loop models appropriate for healthcare content.
- Partner with compliance, legal, clinical, digital, and communications teams to ensurelanguage access supports accreditation standards and regulatory expectations.
- Establish quality standards, governance, and performance metrics for all multilingual content.
- Manage external language service providers, contracts, SLAs, and performance.
- Manage language services budgets, forecasting, and cost optimization.
- Monitor industry trends in localization, language technology, AI governance, and healthcarecommunications.
- Bachelor's Degree in Linguistics, Translation, Communications, Healthcare Administration or related fiel
- 8-10 years of experience in language services, localization, or multilingual content operations (healthcare experience strongly preferred)
- Deomonstrated hands-on experience with MemoQ in an enterprise environment
- Experience integrating or managing machine translation and AI assisted language workflows in regulated settings
- Strong understanding of healthcare accedidation, language access expectations, and quality standards
- Proven leadership, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration sills
- Strong analytical, project management, and communication abilities
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Master's degree or professional certification (ATA, localization, PMP)
- Fluency in one or more lanaguages beyond English
- Experience developing language services, governanace or centers of excellence
