Documentation Engineer

PGS Worldwide is seeking a Documentation Engineer in Andover, Massachusetts for a one-year contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This role supports engineering documentation, part data management, and bill of materials maintenance for electronic and electromechanical components. The position focuses on Windchill data accuracy, part lifecycle support, documentation updates, and supply chain risk visibility related to component obsolescence and standardization.

Required Skills

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering Technology
  • 5+ years of professional experience
  • Experience creating and maintaining parts in EPDM
  • Experience maintaining bills of materials and updating them as needed
  • Documentation engineering experience, including planning and coordinating preparation of technical documentation such as drawings to support part changes
  • Experience working collaboratively with customers and teammates
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

Preferred Skills

  • Prior experience on missile programs
  • Prior experience with mil-spec or automotive-grade parts
  • Experience using obsolescence monitoring tools such as SiliconExpert
  • Experience with part standardization

What Youll Do

  • Create electronic and electromechanical parts in the Windchill database
  • Maintain bills of materials in Windchill and update them as needed
  • Plan and coordinate preparation of technical documentation, including drawings, to support part changes
  • Use obsolescence monitoring tools to review part supply chain issues
  • Support part standardization efforts
  • Work with customers and teammates to maintain accurate engineering data and documentation

Pay

  • $70.00/hour
