Data Center Network Engineer

Scope of work:

1. Provide operational network support for existing and new network components including but not limited to
   1. Troubleshooting network problems
   2. Customer Incident and request management
2. Configure network equipment to include but not limited to basic routing & switching, base and port configurations using standard operating procedures/checklists
3. Participate, as a team member, in network project installations which will include creating change documentation, implementation and cable matrixes and network drawings
4. Attend customer program/project meetings and provide updates on network progress as appropriate
5. Direct physical touch resources on what network equipment should be landed and where and report back to project team or others
6. Direct physical touch resources on cabling needs for network equipment including proper cable labelling, installation etc.

Skillset Required:
Demonstrable skills in the following Technologies:

1. IEEE 202.3 Ethernet Switching
2. TCP/IP Networking
3. Routing BGP, OSPF
4. VLAN
5. Subnetting
6. Layer 1 Cabling detail copper and fiber

Industry Knowledge:

1. Arista product or Cisco product experience and working experience with their products and working experience with their products
