Job Title: Electromechanical Technical Support Engineer

Job Location: Johns Creek, GA (onsite)

Duration: 3 months (with either an extension or conversion to FTE please note FTE conversion is contingent upon headcount and not guaranteed)

Shift: Second Shift: Monday - Friday 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM EST .

Specific education requirements:

High school diploma with technical school certification (ex. Manufacturing Technology) or equivalent
training/experience.

Specialized diploma/degree or industry certification in at least three disciplines (mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, control systems, and/or equipment schematics).

Top 3 must-have skill sets:

Basic to intermediate knowledge of Electrical control circuits (24VDC 480VAC), Instrumentation (pressure transmitters, temperature sensors, conductivity meters), VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), PLC-controlled systems (Siemens)

Reading and interpreting P&IDs (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams), As-built drawings

Familiarity for Maintenance and repair of Centrifugal and positive-displacement pumps, Agitators and mixers, Mechanical seals, packing, and bearings, Valves (ball, gate, check, control, relief, emergency shutdown), Pressure vessels and storage tanks, Heat exchangers and cooling systems.

Five (5) years of related experience with technical certification or seven (7) years of related experience in a manufacturing environment if no technical certification; experience must include manufacturing equipment maintenance, repair and trouble shooting. Experienced in FDA regulations and safety practices.

Job Profile Summary :

Responsible for the implementation, operation, and maintenance of electro-mechanical systems. Troubleshoots, tests, and assembles electro-mechanical assemblies.

Assists in reworking, repairing, and modifying non-conforming equipment.

Responsible for installing, calibrating, and testing equipment and systems including: Assisting engineers with developing technical solutions related to the operation and performance of devices and systems; Installing, calibrating, repairing, and upgrading components of devices and systems, control equipment, operation panes, and facility infrastructure; Inspecting and maintaining equipment using tools and diagnostic software;

Job Description:

The Associate I, Electromechanical Technical Support (Science/Tech/Engineering Path), is primarily responsible for applying technical knowledge to design, develop, and maintain electro-mechanical systems.

You will troubleshoot, test, and assemble assemblies, install and calibrate equipment, and assist in developing technical solutions.

This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and staying current with system advances.

Specifics Include:

Apply technical knowledge to design, develop, implement, operate, and maintain electro-mechanical systems

Troubleshoot, test, and assemble electro-mechanical assemblies, including reworking, repairing, and modifying non-conforming equipment

Install, calibrate, test, repair, and upgrade equipment and systems, including device components, control equipment, and facility infrastructure

Assist engineers in developing technical solutions for device and system operations

Inspect and maintain equipment using tools and diagnostic software

Support project goals through effective task completion and decision-making

Adhere to GxP regulations by following SOPs, maintaining documentation, and ensuring quality control

Meet individual job requirements and contribute to organizational compliance

Commit to continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.All associates must adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard

Proven advanced level skills in 2 or more electro-mechanic core disciplines Mechanical, Fluid Power (pneumatic, hydraulic,) Electrical/ Control Systems

Competence in preventive and predictive maintenance

Operation and maintenance of pumps, valves, piping (mechanical joints, tri-clamp systems, sanitary fittings)

Basic to intermediate knowledge of Electrical control circuits (24VDC 480VAC), Instrumentation (pressure transmitters, temperature sensors, conductivity meters, TOC analyzers), VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives),PLC-controlled systems (Siemens)

Familiarity with Good Documentation Practices (GDP), Change control and deviation investigations

Ability to support IQ/OQ/PQ activities, Environmental monitoring requirements, Internal and external audit response

Reading and interpreting P&IDs (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams), As-built drawings

Familiarity for Maintenance and repair of Centrifugal and positive-displacement pumps, Agitators and mixers, Mechanical seals, packing, and bearings, Valves (ball, gate, check, control, relief, emergency shutdown),Pressure vessels and storage tanks, Heat exchangers and cooling systems.
Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control, and completing all required training.
