SR Electronics Test Engineer

Overview A leading technology organization is seeking an Electronics Hardware Test Engineer to support the design, testing, and validation of digital and analog electronic hardware. This role contributes directly to Test & Validation activities, working across requirements, specifications, architecture, and testing to ensure high quality, reliable electronic products.

The ideal candidate is hands on, technically curious, and comfortable working independently on test missions while collaborating with cross functional teams to resolve complex hardware and production issues. Responsibilities
  • Independently execute technical assignments within the electronic hardware domain and propose effective technical solutions
  • Support hardware Test & Validation activities across digital, analog, and power electronics systems
  • Design and conduct complex electronic and EMC tests
  • Write and maintain test procedures, test plans, and detailed test reports
  • Participate in defining test strategies and qualification plans
  • Analyze product rejections from production or customer returns and drive root cause resolution
  • Update qualification and test databases to support product evolution and continuous improvement
  • Verify products, sub assemblies, and components against specifications and standards
  • Apply structured methods and tools to improve test efficiency and product quality
  • Maintain a strong customer and quality focus throughout the test lifecycle
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 6 months to 3 years of experience in electronics hardware testing, validation, or a related role
  • Solid understanding of:
    • Analog electronics (including opto electronics)
    • Digital electronics and signal processing
    • Power electronics, power conversion, and energy storage
  • Experience with electronic verification, testing, and quality metrics
  • Familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements
  • Strong problem solving and issue resolution skills
  • Ability to understand application needs and system level architecture

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience performing EMC or compliance testing
  • Exposure to production support, failure analysis, or customer return investigations
  • Experience working in structured test environments with formal documentation and reporting
