Project Manager II

AECOM Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager II in Dallas, TX.

Job Details:

• Manage projects involving services provided by multidiscipline design team
• Oversee all phases of projects from planning/initiation to post-construction closeout
• Manage scope, schedule, and budget for small to mid-sized projects
• Work mostly independently but receive basic instruction on specific assignments, objectives, complex features, and possible solutions
• Produce weekly/monthly reports of project progress and status of resolved/unresolved issues
• Build strong client relationships
• Analyze and apply solutions to atypical and/or semi-complex and challenging issues within area of expertise
• Prepare cost estimates and proposals
• Coordinate work schedules with client staff and contractors
• Responsible for quality control of tasks
• Coordinate procurement of services required for delivery of the project, including the design engineer; third-party providers such as survey, geotechnical, and construction materials testing; and, construction
• Coordinate review of engineering team design milestone deliverables by appropriate entities (stakeholders, Planning Department, Building Inspection, etc.)
• Report project status and/or issues to senior management levels of the Program team and/or client leadership
• Facilitate recurring construction progress meetings to identify and resolve potential construction issues
• Review proposed cost and/or time changes received from the Contractor; negotiate a fair value for valid requests and facilitate execution of appropriate change order documentation when needed
