Sr Engineering Manager
Job Description
We are a seeking a Sr. Engineering Manager to lead our Provider Experience and User Profile teams,owning the core systems that power how caregivers and families establish identity, build trust, and engage across our platform.
Youll lead a high-performing, agile team responsible for designing and evolving scalable, distributed systems at the heart of our marketplace. Partnering closely with Product and Design, youll deliver reliable, high-impact user experiences while driving modernization and maintaining critical legacy systems. This role is ideal for a leader who values both technical excellence and product impact and understands that the why is just as important as the how.
What You'll Do:
- Lead, mentor, and grow a distributed team of engineers
- Own the architecture and technical direction of core profile and provider systems
- Drive system design, scalability, reliability, and performance improvements
- Partner cross-functionally to deliver impactful, user-facing features
- Balance modernization efforts with ongoing support and evolution of legacy systems
- Establish and uphold high standards for code quality, testing, and operational excellence
- Tech Stack:Golang microservices on Kubernetes (Istio), gRPC & GraphQL APIs, AWS (Lambda, EventBridge, CDK), Kafka, MySQL, Elasticsearch, Java, React, and Node.js.
