Project Manager - Luxury Residential Remodeling

Unique high end home remodeling contractor that services high net worth individuals is looking for an experienced project manager to join their team. Projects are located throughout the DC Region.

The Project Manager acts as the point of contact with the client, but also the liaison with field/site management for the successful on-time/on-budget completion of projects. This position offers a highly competitive compensation package including excellent benefits.

Project Manager Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Pre-Construction: Collaborate with architects and designers to finalize layouts, evaluate feasibility, and obtain necessary permits.
• Budget & Cost Control: Create detailed project budgets, track expenses meticulously, and manage change orders to ensure project profitability.
• Scheduling & Logistics: Develop comprehensive construction timelines using tools like Gantt charts; coordinate the precise sequence of specialty trades and material deliveries.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct daily site visits and meticulous inspections to ensure all work including the installation of rare or custom finishes meets architectural specifications and building codes.
• Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners, providing regular, transparent updates and maintaining discretion at all times.
• Subcontractor Coordination: Supervise luxury subcontractors and artisans, ensuring they meet high standards for craftsmanship and jobsite cleanliness.

Project Manager Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years of residential construction project management, specifically in luxury custom homes or high-end renovations.
• Technical Proficiency: Expert ability to read blueprints and structural drawings; proficient with project management software such as BuilderTrend, Procore, or Microsoft Project.
• Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills; able to translate complex technical issues for clients while leading diverse on-site teams.
• Education/Certification: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering is preferred. PMP or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certifications are a plus.
