Company is seeking a Circular Economy Quality Engineer to support quality engineering and continuous improvement initiatives across Mopar & Circular Economy operations. This role works closely with Engineering, Design Release Engineers (DREs), Packaging, Warehouse/Depot Operations, and external service suppliers to drive measurable improvements in product quality, process compliance, warehouse quality performance, and supplier throughputwith required exposure to warehousing, and supplier quality/engineering environments.

What Youll Do
- Lead and support product quality engineering improvements at both design and process levels.
- Partner with Engineering, suppliers, Packaging Operations, and Warehouse teams to drive quality improvement projects and implement change.
- Plan and execute process audits and verify corrective actions for compliance to product and process technical requirements.
- Ensure correct application of process methods and specifications in Packaging and Depot/Warehouse areas.
- Develop and improve inspection procedures and best practices aligned to Company standards.
- Recommend and validate rework procedures, ensuring effective containment and prevention of recurrence.
- Recommend, implement, and verify cost-effective, permanent corrective actions.
- Work with Design Release Engineers (DREs) on product improvement actions and design-related quality updates.
- Drive supplier throughput improvement actions and support supplier quality performance.
- Review and analyze parts returned from dealerships and field PDCs to identify trends and root causes.
- Process Non-Conformance Tickets (NCT) and issue Quality Control Messages (QCM) as required.
- Identify and support cost savings initiatives through improved quality performance, reduced rework, and process optimization.
What You Bring (Required Qualifications)
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (or equivalent relevant experience).
- Experience in Quality Engineering with exposure to warehousing/depot operations and supplier quality.
- Experience with process auditing, corrective action verification, and quality improvement implementation.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to influence internal teams and external suppliers.
- Ability to interpret quality issues, drive containment, and deliver sustainable corrective actions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in automotive service parts, remanufacturing, recycling, or circular economy environments.
- Familiarity with structured problem-solving (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone, A3) and continuous improvement methods.
- Lean / Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher) experience a plus.
- Experience working with packaging specifications, warehouse processes, and part return analysis.
