IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS
- Candidates must be local to SC, NC, or GA OR willing to relocate within 40 miles of Blythewood, SC
- Valid South Carolina Driver's License required
- Willingness to travel to SCDMV field offices (state vehicle provided)
- Must be comfortable with fully onsite work
- Two rounds of interviews (onsite presence may be required)
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, install, maintain, and upgrade network infrastructure
- Troubleshoot network failures, outages, and performance issues
- Support and optimize statewide enterprise network environments
- Perform network analysis, design, and implementation
- Maintain accurate network diagrams and documentation
- Monitor network performance and ensure uptime and reliability
- Implement security best practices and compliance standards
- Provide advanced troubleshooting for routing, switching, and VPN issues
- Support voice-integrated network environments
- Collaborate across teams and provide knowledge transfer
Technical Environment
- Cisco (Routers, Switches, Firewalls, VPN, Administration)
- Palo Alto (Firewalls, XDR)
- Cisco Meraki
- Fortinet / FortiGate
- Citrix NetScaler
- Trellix Security Tools
- Enterprise Monitoring & Network Tools
Required Skills (Must Have)
- 10+ years of experience with Cisco Firewalls
- 10+ years of experience with Cisco Routers
- 10+ years of experience with Cisco Switches
- 10+ years of experience with Cisco VPN
- 10+ years of experience with Cisco Network Administration
- 5+ years of experience with Palo Alto Firewalls
- 5+ years of experience with Palo Alto XDR
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
- 10+ years of experience with network monitoring and tracing tools
- Strong experience in core network architecture design
- Advanced expertise in routing, switching, and troubleshooting
- 4+ years of experience with wireless networking
- 3+ years of experience with hybrid cloud infrastructure
Certifications (Preferred)
- CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)
- CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional)
