Warehouse Associate
This role is like a tool room attendant/counter attendant (similar to NAPA you walk in and ask for the part you need) This role can easily be trained if the candidate can prove a great work history/longevity and a willingness to learn at come to work each day! This is a warehouse role, but no forklift is used or even available for use.
A high percentage of candidates have been arriving to interviews without a clear understanding of the role or assigned shift. To ensure a productive interview process, please confirm that candidates are fully briefed on the job responsibilities, schedule, and expectations prior to submission.
This candidate will be responsible for driving their own personal vehicle to four different locations throughout the shift. This candidate will spend approximately two hours give or take at each location. Will be discussed in greater detail during the interview.
**Government contract so must be able to pass government background/drug screen to work at the site. (Sterling package must be clear even if state requirements are allowed, not for this contract)
Must haves:
6 months of solid longevity at their last place of employment
No gaps larger than 3 months between employment
6 months of customer experience listed on resume
Qualifications:
A background in Warehouse operations is helpful.
Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn it.
Read and understand work orders
Basic computer experience (data entry type background) -this is a plus
Responsibilities:
Pull and prepare orders for customer to pick up
Verify, stage and orders for pick up
Verify incoming stock and put away in proper locations.
Ensure store room is clean, organized, secure and safe at all times.
