L3 Project Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled Level 3 Systems Engineer to join our growing Managed Services team. This role is ideal for a senior engineer who thrives in a fast-paced MSP environment and brings deep experience across Microsoft cloud technologies, Azure infrastructure, and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) migrations.
This engineer will serve as a technical escalation point while also leading and supporting complex infrastructure and cloud projects across multiple client environments. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with excellent communication, ownership, and a client-first mindset.

Key Responsibilities
Advanced Technical Support & Escalation
- Serve as a Level 3 escalation point for complex technical issues
- Troubleshoot advanced server, networking, virtualization, and cloud-related incidents
- Support both reactive service desk operations and proactive project work
- Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions
Technical Requirements
5+ years of IT engineering experience
MSP experience strongly preferred
Strong experience with:
- Microsoft Azure
- Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
- Microsoft 365
- Windows Server environments
- VMware and/or Hyper-V
- Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, routing, switching)
Experience with:
- Entra ID / Azure AD
- Intune
- Conditional Access
- Backup and disaster recovery solutions
Soft Skills & Core Competencies
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving mindset
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
- Strong documentation habits and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft certifications (Azure, M365, Security)
- Experience with:
- SonicWall, Fortinet, Meraki, or similar firewalls
- PowerShell scripting and automation
- Security and compliance frameworks
- RMM and PSA platforms (ConnectWise, Autotask, NinjaOne, etc.)
