Job Summary:
Skilled SQL Developer needed to join our functional and technical teams, focusing on the design and implementation of robust database structures to support our current Students Information legacy system migration to the FOCUS system. The ideal candidate understands and consistently applies the attributes and processes of current application development methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the full lifecycle of database development, from initial SQL database design to the creation of complex SSIS packages for seamless data integration.
- Code high-performance, efficient SQL queries and utilize DBeaver to manage and build the specific tables and fields required to house critical organizational data.
- Work with Developers and interact with Database Administrators as needed.
- Read data from FOCUS systems in Postgres as needed.
- Perform rigorous data validation to ensure the integrity and accuracy of every record processed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
- At least 5 years of IT work experience as a SQL Programmer with database design using Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS packages).
- Knowledge of DevOps environments and deployments.
- Knowledge of API development is preferred but not required.
