SCHEDULE: 6:00 AM TO 4:30 PM - MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

JOB SUMMARY: XL Systems, a division of National Oilwell Varco, is a world leader in the production of large diameter casing and conductor in the oil and gas business.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School graduate required.
- Candidate must have a good understanding of shipping and receiving, as well as other material-handling activities.
- Must be able to stand and work in adverse conditions (outside in all types of weather or inside in a manufacturing environment) for a minimum of 8 hours.
- Must be able to use simple measuring instruments (tape measure, caliper, etc.).
- Must be able to do extensive walking, bending, stooping, and moderate to heavy lifting.
- Must be able to manually work multiple levers and Knobs in association with applicable machines or equipment.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Know the company's Quality policy.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Responsible for final visual inspection of threads on pipe and protectors before shipping.
- Responsible for properly cleaning, deburring, phosphating, and measuring the hole and length dimensions of protectors.
- Learn to operate all forklifts and backhoes.
- Learn and maintain a proper understanding of all XL Systems operating procedures.
- Learn all types and sizes of threads and different applications that apply.
- Learn and correctly identify serial numbers and help production and inventory control identify serial numbers when necessary.
- Actively engage in improving yard work, product handling, and safety.
- Develop a fundamental understanding of material flow and storage.
- Other duties as defined by PDL Supervisor or Yard Manager.
