Control Tower Engineer

Our North America Quality organization is seeking a skilled professional to join the Control Tower & Field Quality team at our Headquarters & Technical Center in Auburn Hills, MI. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with engineering, supplier quality, manufacturing, and service teams to resolve warranty issues and enhance customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the identification and analysis of warranty-related issues through part and vehicle reviews.
- Propose triage recommendations based on data and insights for resolution by downstream teams.
- Support governance of warranty issues throughout their lifecycle.
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an accredited University.
- 5 years of experience in Product Engineering.
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Well-rounded automotive knowledge and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, specifically MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Master of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
- Shainin RedX Black Belt.
- Green Belt / Kepner Tregoe.
- Design for Six Sigma.
- Project Management experience.
- Working knowledge of TeamCenter and Palantir.
- Understanding of GD&T and full detail on drawings.
- 2 years of experience in testing/validation/test method development, including fixture design, instrumentation, data acquisition, etc.
