Location: Rainsville, AL (100 % onsite)
Duration: 12-month contract
Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour on W2
Shift: 1st Shift 6:00 am - 2:30 pm (Overtime Required)

Job Description:
- The Material Handler I will supply lines with raw materials and move unfinished good through the manufacturing process utilizing a forklift.
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures to include proper use of required PPE.
- Operate a stand up and LP forklift safely.
- Supply raw materials where needed in the production process.
- Maintain kit carts where applicable.
- Facilitate movement of product through the production process.
- Adhere to receiving procedures.
- Demonstrate knowledge of parts and home locations.
- Manage and consolidate inventory in stockroom and other areas as directed.
- Participate in physical inventory activities.
- Utilize lift assistance to handle products weighing more than 50 pounds.
- Meet established efficiency and productivity standards.
- Maintain 6S and Lean Manufacturing standards.
- Additional or updated duties as business demands change.
Must Have:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior Forklift operation experience preferred.
- prior Warehouse environment experience.
- Prior experience working as a material handler.
- Manually handling up to 50 pounds often by lift/push/pull.
- Bending, stooping, reaching occasionally
- Workers must wear and provide their own safety toe shoes.
