We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team for a 6-month project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, with a focus on Microsoft Azure and related technologies. This role involves designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines, optimizing ETL workflows, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proficiency in SQL Server, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Client Fabric.
Experience with Power BI and PythonPySpark.
Ability to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure services.
Experience in implementing and optimizing ETL workflows for structured and unstructured data.
Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Experience with Azure Service Fabric and API development.
Knowledge of PL/SQL and data engines.
Familiarity with CI/CD and build pipelines.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and related services.
Implement and optimize ETL workflows for structured and unstructured data across multiple sources.
Write and manage complex SQL stored procedures, table scripts, and data transformations.
Build and maintain analytical models and views in Client Fabric for enterprise reporting.
Develop and support Power BI dashboards ensuring accurate and timely insights.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
Drive continuous improvement in data processes to enhance performance and reliability.
