Electrical Designer
The Electrical Designeris responsible forsupporting the development and execution of electrical systems and control panel designs for our manufacturing operations. The Electrical Designer willbe responsible forcreating electrical design packages, selecting components, preparing detailed schematics, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure design intent is carried through to production.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities

- Create designs specific to low voltage switchgear assemblies/systems, replacement breakers, and related equipment.
- Work under the supervision of electrical engineers to develop electrical schematics, panel layout, and wiring diagrams that meet customer, manufacturing, regulatory, and project requirements.
- Create andmaintainBills of Materials (BOMs), wire lists, and terminal block drawings.
- Follow and develop standard design processes and documentation to improve quality and efficiency in engineering design.
- Support engineering change orders (ECOs) and revise existing designs to improve manufacturability, cost, or performance.
- Maintain proper version control and documentation.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
