Software Engineer

Overview:

Develop new and existing technologies and software solutions using front-end and/or back-end skillsets.Providetechnical guidance in collaboration with software developers and customer throughout the products development.

Responsibilities:

• Develop web-based applications that will serve content to thousands of users across the Department of Defense (DoD) using the Palantir platform.

• Develop software designs using best practices and object-oriented methodologies.Software will be developed using an agile-scrum development style, in conjunction with a multi-disciplinary team including designers, architects, and systems engineers.

• Perform mid-level development, test, analysis, and validation of software.

• Collaborate with your team and other business units to provide software solutions, following best practices ensuring a high-quality standard.

• Familiar with good configuration management practices and willbe responsible forproper code maintenance, merging, and configuration management.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience

• Bachelors degree in computer science or software engineeringrequired.Additionalexperience may substitute for degree.

• 2-7years of relevant experience.

• Experience with Agile Scrum developmentmethodologyand associated tools.

• Experience developing software in C#.

• Experience debugging code.

• Experience with Agile development.

• Experience in Palantir development, certification desired.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Communication skills to interface with government and contractors torepresenttechnical and programmatic positions.

• Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks.

• Ability to obtain andmaintaina DoD security clearance.

• U.S. Citizenship isrequired.

• Knowledge of office administration and procedures.

• Regular i3 hours are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, however,additionalhours may berequiredon occasion. Regular and punctual attendance isrequired.
