Data Analyst
Role Overview: This onsite position at 30 Rockefeller Plaza requires a high-level Data Analyst to drive visual analytics and data-driven decision-making. The primary focus is on leveraging Tableau and advanced Excel to transform complex datasets into actionable business insights. Due to the nature of the project and client requirements, a comprehensive 10-year background check (BGC) is mandatory. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-impact Tableau dashboards and visualizations to track key business metrics.
- Perform deep-dive data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within large datasets.
- Utilize advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros, Power Query) to clean, manipulate, and model data for reporting.
- Partner with stakeholders to define data requirements and ensure reporting aligns with organizational goals.
- Maintain data integrity by identifying and resolving discrepancies across multiple data sources.
- Communicate complex data findings clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical leadership.
- Streamline existing reporting processes through automation and improved data visualization techniques.
- Visualization Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Tableau (6 9 years) including calculated fields, parameters, and dashboard optimization.
- Spreadsheet Engineering: Expert-level Microsoft Excel skills for complex data modeling and statistical analysis.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong ability to conduct end-to-end data analysis, from data mining to executive-level presentation.
- Data Literacy: Understanding of database structures and the ability to interpret complex data schemas.
- Attention to Detail: Precision in data handling and a commitment to 100% accuracy in reporting.
- Communication: Ability to present "the story behind the data " in a polite, professional, and impactful manner.
- Collaboration: Comfortable working onsite in a fast-paced corporate environment and engaging with cross-functional teams.

- Experience: Minimum 6 9 years of professional experience in Data Analysis.
