Electrical Engineer

Job Description

As an Electrical Engineer, you will contribute to the planning, design, and execution of the embedded electrical systems for IQSIGHTs moving (PTZ) camera product portfolio. In support of multiple new product introductions, youll participate in requirements planning, architecture development, circuit design, design verification, and industrialization activities.

Strategic:

• Work with senior technical staff in developing system architectures for the future PTZ platforms.
• Identify areas for improvement within the EE team and suggest actionable CIP initiatives.
• Ensure designs adhere to global regulatory and compliance standards and guidelines.

Operational:

• Contribute to product requirement development, system design, system implementation, and validation activities.
• Support lifecycle management efforts including component EOL, cost down, and field complaint investigations.
• Participate in cross-functional design reviews and perform risk assessments (FMEA, focus area matrices, etc...).
• Own assigned electrical subsystem designs through development, verification, release, validation, and implementation.
• Perform electrical tolerance analysis and component derating techniques to ensure a robust, high-quality design.
• Support the manufacturing plant in devising optimized production tests to ensure robust product performance.

People:

• Mentor junior engineers to support team growth and skill development.
• Communicate ideas, technical decision making, and risks clearly and concisely to all colleagues.
