About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Nondestructive Evaluation (NDE) Technical Analyst to serve as the primary focal for the NDE Lab in Berkeley, MO. NDE Technicians and Analysts with strong technical depth and leadership capabilities.
This team supports pre production, production, and post production phases, supplier certification, troubleshooting, fleet sustainment, and NDE research & development. The selected candidate will support the St. Louis, MO location.Key Responsibilities
  • Apply nondestructive evaluation methodologiesacoustic, electromagnetic, thermal, optical, radiologicin performing complex material, part, and process analyses to ensure product safety, reliability, and compliance.
  • Lead, coordinate, and conduct complex failure analyses to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.
  • Generate detailed test plans, document failure modes, identify root causes, and develop corrective recommendations.
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory, customer, and contractual requirements.
  • Lead proposals, updates, and validation of revisions to NDE procedures, standards, and specifications.
  • Assess suitability of materials, parts, and processes, coordinate resolution of complex issues with customers and suppliers.
  • Support audits, investigations, and root cause analyses as a subject matter expert.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives through development, testing, and implementation of new technologies or concepts.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
  • Support the team lead with work-statement execution, strategy development, and technical consultation.
Basic Qualifications (Required)
  • 5+ years of experience in Nondestructive Evaluation
  • ASNT Level II certification in Eddy Current and Ultrasonic NDE methods
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with computer aided design tools (e.g., CAD/CAM, CATIA, Mentor Graphics, Unigraphics)
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of hands-on NDE/NDT engineering experience in a regulated industry (aerospace, defense, energy, etc.)
  • Experience with NDE processes such as:
    • Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
    • Radiography (RT)
    • Eddy Current Testing (ET)
    • Penetrant Inspection (PT)
  • ASNT Level II in multiple NDE disciplines
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary teams with both technical and non technical stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of materials behavior, stress analysis, and fracture mechanics
  • Experience with project management tools
  • Exceptional time management skills with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous efforts across geographically distributed teams

Education & Experience
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent
  • Typically acquired through the following combinations:
    • Associate degree + 9+ years related experience
    • Bachelors degree + 7+ years related experience
    • 11+ years directly related experience in lieu of a degree

Candidates must have the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance
