Hoist Assembler
Okie Staffing is seeking a dependable Capstan Hoist Assembler to join a manufacturing team focused on assembling heavy-duty lifting equipment. This position involves assembling components, performing quality checks, and ensuring the finished products meet rigorous safety and performance standards.
Location: Tulsa, OK
Schedule: Monday Thursday, 5am to 3pm Day shift
Pay: $16.00 $17.00/hr DOE
Key Responsibilities- Assembling capstan hoists and related lifting equipment components according to drawings and specifications
- Using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment assembly techniques
- Performing quality inspections to verify correct assembly and function
- Collaborating with the production team to maintain workflow and meet deadlines
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Reporting any defects or issues to supervisors promptly
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- No experience needed
- Prior mechanical assembly experience preferred, especially with hoists or lifting equipment
- Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings and assembly instructions
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet for extended periods
- Good communication and teamwork skills
