Responsibilities:Howyoullmake an impactinthis role
- Monitors andoperatescritical plant systems (e.g., boilers, refrigeration, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and medical gas systems), ensuring safe and efficient performance.
- Inspects equipment, adjusts controls, reads gauges, andidentifiesand resolves orreportsmalfunctions.
- Performs water testing and chemicalmanagement, andcompletes minor and emergency repairs usingappropriate toolsand equipment.
- Prioritizes and completes work orders, interprets schematics and specifications, and prepares necessary materials and supplies.
- Maintainsaccuraterecords, equipment documentation, and workhistorieswhile responding promptly to emergencies.
- Supports safe, efficient operations by supervising assigned staff,maintaininga clean work area, and adhering to safety, compliance, and cost-control standards.
Whatminimumrequirementsyoullneed
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent
License:
- City of Detroit First Class Refrigeration Operator license
WorkExpereience:
- Three to five years
