Electrical Engineer
- Accountable for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, familiarizing yourself with client expectations, scope, budget, and schedule.
- Provide on-site assistance during startup and coordinate work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead.
- Produce designs for medium and low voltage power, UPS/Generators, Lighting, Grounding, Fire Alarm, Security, Public Address (PA), Telecomm, and Heat Trace systems.
- Utilize your technical expertise to mentor other professionals, helping your team discover their drives, nurturing their purpose, and guiding them forward.
Here's what you'll need:
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering design of building electrical systems.
- Solid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC).
- Ability to work collaboratively to achieve overall project delivery goals.
- Working knowledge of ACAD and REVIT.
Ideally, you'll also have:
- Professional Engineering License or a path to obtain it.
- Previous leadership experience of electrical engineers and designers.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Forward-thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas.
- Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base.
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams.
- Passion for buildings and construction.
