Systems Software Programmer Project Lead

Job Title: Systems Software Programmer Project Lead (.NET) ( 10706)
Location: Columbia (Remote with occasional onsite)
Duration: 12 Months (Extension Possible)
Interview: 1 Round (Virtual)
Candidate Location: Must be CURRENT South Carolina resident (No relocation)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of a law enforcement switch system
• Develop .NET-based applications using C#, ASP.NET, XML, JavaScript
• Oversee SQL Server development (stored procedures, triggers, performance tuning)
• Drive end-to-end project lifecycle (requirements development testing deployment)
• Ensure system security, compliance, and performance standards
• Manage integration between applications and law enforcement databases
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers
• Track project timelines, risks, and dependencies
• Communicate with stakeholders and provide status reporting
• Establish and enforce coding standards and best practices

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience developing .NET solutions (C#, ASP.NET, XML, JavaScript)
• Experience with law enforcement switch environments (dispatch / communications / public safety systems)
• 5+ years of experience with SQL Server development

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with Government Agencies
• Experience with enterprise-level platforms

Education

• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience)
